To coincide with the 150th anniversary of the publication of “The Origin of Species” by Charles Darwin, the Leek Deanery Synod hosted a meeting at St. Lawrence’s on Mon 23rd November 2009.

Rev. Martin Cannam gave a presentation entitled “Darwin and Genesis – understanding the origin of species” after which there was an opportunity for questions and discussion.
